The project Healing Nature - Animation for Health and Well-being in Children Hospital Environments has celebrated a partnership agreement with Hospital Dona Estefânia and São José ULS São José - Hospital Dona Estefânia. The agreement will allow the project to work with and within the hospital to develop interactive AR-integrated murals and conduct research on its impact on patients, health professionals and hospital staff in regards to mental health.
Led by the Croatian Association of Fine Artists in collaboration with Universidade Lusófona and New Bulgarian University, the project kicked off on november of last year, and intends to make use of nature-inspired visuals in hospital spaces (Waiting Rooms of Multipurpose Pediatric Emergency, Imunnoallergology and Clinical Pathology), as a way to support the mental, physical, and spiritual health of the individual and the hospital community, specifically in pediatric wings.
