CICANT researcher at congress of the Ibero-Latin American Association of Political Psychology
CICANT researcher Carla Sousa attended the Congress of the Ibero-Latin American Association of Political Psychology (Congresso da Associação Ibero-Latinoamericana de Psicologia Política) to present a paper on the psychological motivations for playing video games by people with disabilities.
In this work, which included more than 170 participants, an entertainment-centred lens was discussed that aims to change the paradigms of viewing these players in media studies from a clinical notion to something more centred on recreational aspects and the gaming experience.
This event took place at Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences of the University of Porto.
