Extended deadline: IJSIM Call for Papers – Volume 10 (2026)
The International Journal on Stereo & Immersive Media (IJSIM) has extended the submission deadline for its 2026 issue.
IJSIM is an open-access, peer-reviewed, and Scopus-indexed journal that has been published since 2017. The journal explores immersive media cultures across both historical and contemporary contexts, reflecting on technologies and practices ranging from panoramas and stereoscopic photography to Extended Reality (XR) media.
For Volume 10 (2026), IJSIM welcomes original contributions addressing one or more of the following themes:
Stereoscopic Photography and Cinema;
Stationary and Moving Panoramas;
Optical Shows and Peep Media;
Cinema and Sound Media Archaeologies;
Media Art Installations;
Extended Reality (XR) Media;
Sonic Art and New Technologies.
The new deadline for full paper submissions is 1 July 2026.
Researchers, scholars, and practitioners working in the fields of immersive media, media archaeology, visual culture, sound studies, digital arts, and related disciplines are encouraged to submit their work.
