EUthentic Detectives project promotes an online transnational event in June 2026

To mark the launch of the Creative Europe project EUthentic Detectives: Detecting Truth, Building Communities, the consortium is promoting an online transnational event on Wednesday, 24th June from 15:00 – 16:00 CEST (from 14:00 to 15:00 in Portugal).
The event will introduce the project's vision, goals, and activities while bringing together organisations, educators, caregivers, volunteers, and anyone interested in media literacy and inclusion.

About EUthentic Detectives:
The main goal of the project is to strengthen media literacy skills of people facing cognitive challenges, as well as caregivers and young volunteers across Europe and beyond. Through innovative educational tools and collaborative activities, the project aims to support critical thinking, digital awareness, and social inclusion.

During the event, participants will:
- Learn more about the EUthentic Detectives project and its objectives and key target groups;
- Meet the project partners and network with participants from different countries;
- Join an engaging panel discussion with experts and practitioners from the fields of media literacy, dementia support, and youth inclusion.

CICANT will be represented by Marisa Mourão, an expert on media literacy, from the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro.
