Lusófona University – Porto University Centre will host, on 19 November 2026, a Short-Duration Training Course dedicated to the theme "Youth Citizenship, Intergenerationality and Digital Narratives". The event will take place in person, from 10.00am to 1.00pm and from 2.30pm to 5.30pm.
The initiative forms part of the STORYline National Conference, organised under the STORYline research project (reference 10.54499/2023.11571.PEX), funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), with support from the Research Centre for Applied Communication, Culture and New Technologies (CICANT) at Lusófona University.
The programme combines plenary sessions, parallel sessions of scientific and pedagogical presentations, and two practical workshops aimed at teachers at all levels of education. One workshop focuses on news literacy through gamified approaches, whilst the other explores the use of comics as a pedagogical resource for addressing issues of gender-based violence.
