Portuguese Studies special issue edited by CICANT researcher Lurdes Macedo

A special issue of the Q3-ranked journal Portuguese Studies, entitled "Arts and Culture of Resistance in Lusophone Africa: 50 Years of Independence", has recently been published. It was edited by CICANT researcher Lurdes Macedo, Tom Stennett (independent researcher), and Elísio Macamo (University of Basel). This issue features articles by researchers from various universities around the world, two of which are authored by researchers from CICANT: one by Lurdes Macedo and the other by Vanessa Ribeiro-Rodrigues. It also includes an interview with the publication’s founder, Helder Macedo, conducted by Nuno Bessa Moreira from FCAATI, Lusófona University - Porto University Centre, and by guest editor Lurdes Macedo.
