YouNDigital training inspires artistic mural created by students from the Filipa de Vilhena School

Last year, the YouNDigital Project – Youth, News and Digital Citizenship – and the Filipa de Vilhena School in Porto established a training protocol entitled " Reading and Writing the World." The main objective of this initiative was to strengthen the skills of the entire school community in understanding and critically analyzing news, algorithms, and artificial intelligence.

In each session, also previously reported (see here and here), the collaborative work resulted in a Padlet, which brings together materials, activities and photographic records of the initiatives, with the participation of students, family members, teachers and staff.

More recently, the Visual Arts students at the school created an art panel, displayed throughout the school, that creatively translates the project's main message. The mural thus leaves a visual legacy at the institution and encourages reflection within the school community on these themes.
