On 9 December 2025, at 5:30 PM, the Lusófona University Bookshop will host the launch of two new volumes of the work Unrealised Musical Energy, an event aimed at the academic community, including students, lecturers, and researchers from areas such as Communication, Arts, and Information Technologies.
The publication is situated within the field of artistic research, a relatively recent area of knowledge that brings together academic research and creative production, at the intersection of the arts, sciences, and humanities. Characterised by its methodological plurality, this approach uses works of art not as objects of repetition, reconstruction, or reproduction, but as true loci of experimentation and knowledge production.
The volumes presented are organised into two parts — Art-Science and Artistic Research — marking the formal introduction of this emerging field of study within the catalogue of the Lusófona University Press, opening new perspectives for critical and creative thinking in the academic context.
CICANT invites the entire academic community to take part in this moment of sharing and reflection.
