Young people and news: YouNDigital research findings explained through video
A series of eight short videos presents key findings on how young people in Portugal relate to news and information, drawing on results from the research project YouNDigital – Youth, News and Digital Citizenship (DOI: 10.54499/PTDC/COM-OUT/0243/2021).
Produced by audiovisual communication specialists—videographic design by André Ferreira and production by Célia Quico, a member of the YouNDigital research team—the videos were developed under the scientific coordination of Maria José Brites, Teresa Sofia Castro, and Margarida Maneta. These resources are integrated into the National Media Literacy Plan, reinforcing their educational and civic relevance.
Beyond disseminating research results, the videos are designed as starting points for dialogue with diverse social actors and audiences, including international publics. They may be used as educational materials and reflect the project’s strong commitment to science communication and public engagement.
