Within the framework of the Erasmus+ project TRANSPER - Transdisciplinary Learning Methodology in the fields of Performing Arts and Technology to Promote Critical Thinking and Innovativeness on digitalization in Higher Education (2025-1-ES01-KA220-HED-000354146), which brings together researchers and practitioners from different European contexts, the roundtable No Endgame: Performance, Play, Recycling for Sustainable Futures will take place on 5 February 2026.
Chaired by Inês Marques, the discussion features Ana Rita Moreira (Junta de Freguesia do Lumiar), Ana Matos (Electrão), and Gustavo Ciríaco (artist). The participants will explore performance and play as practices grounded in reuse, recycling, and continuity, highlighting how these approaches intersect with civic responsibility, artistic processes, and recycling infrastructures.
The event brings together perspectives from public policy, environmental action, and artistic practice to reflect on sustainability beyond linear models of production and consumption. By challenging the idea of an “endgame” as a final or closed outcome, the roundtable invites discussion on alternative, cyclical approaches to sustainable futures.
