The journal Revista Rizoma has opened a Call for Papers for its upcoming thematic dossier (Vol. 15, No. 2, 2026), dedicated to “Narrativas midiáticas para a transformação social” (EN: Media narratives for social transformation).

Topics of interest include:
- media narratives and their impact on social transformation processes;
- the role of platforms, algorithms, and AI in shaping narratives;
- counter-narratives, symbolic resistance, and discursive reconfigurations;
- activism, political engagement, and visibility disputes in public space;
- media practices in contexts of social vulnerability;
- cultural and creative industries, influencers, and identity performances.
The dossier welcomes empirical, theoretical, and methodological contributions, including discourse analysis, digital ethnography, case studies, and applied research.
