Call for Articles
The inaugural issue of A Idade Maior magazine
Submission of complete articles by: February 15, 2022
Edited in partnership by the AIM – Associação de Investigadores da Imagem em Movimento and by FECA – Federação de Escolas de Cinema e Audiovisual, A Idade Maior aims to be an excellent academic forum for the submission of works developed by students in the scope of Bachelor and Masters degrees, as first steps in scientific publication (see the detailed description of the journal here). We intend to host and promote smaller works developed in the initiation phase to the practice of scientific research, excluding dissertations.
For the first issue, to be launched in May 2022, we accept scientific articles of any theme, within the broad area of moving images (cinema, audiovisual, television, animation, videogames, media studies, among others). These articles must have between 3000 and 4000 words, and will be submitted to double blind peer review.
