Partnership between the Commission for Citizenship and Gender Equality, CICANT - Research Center for Applied Communications, Culture and New Technologies (Uni. Lusófona) and the Protocol Centre for Professional Training for Journalists.

This training initiative has a double objective:

  • First, the fostering of a critical look at stereotyped messages (texts, images and sounds) - from the perspective of gender relations and roles - in communication contents, namely journalistic, advertising and/or entertainment contents.
  • Secondly, to raise awareness of the importance of professional people of Communication in the deconstruction of gender stereotypes and in the eradication of certain invisibilities, in order to produce contents that contribute to the elimination of unequal practices in the media and, consequently, to a greater social equity.
