CICANT researcher selected in the 5th edition of the CEEC Individual - FCT

CICANT researcher Teresa Sofia Castro was recently selected in the 5th Edition of the "Individual Call to Scientific Employment Stimulus (CEEC Individual)", promoted by FCT - the Foundation for Science and Technology - to conduct her project, i-Tech Families: Empowering Parents, Teachers and Children for a Digital Future, in our research unit. In one of the most competitive hiring processes for scientists at a national level, the scientific relevance of the project presented by the CICANT researcher was confirmed by the grade achieved in the Individual Call evaluation. Teresa Sofia Castro was ranked 1st in her panel (Media and Communications, Law and Political Science), with a 9.66 grade, in the Assistant Researcher category.

The Individual Call to Scientific Employment Stimulus is one of the funding instruments for hiring researchers defined by the Scientific Employment Regulation launched in 2017 by FCT, following the publication of Decree-Law no. 57/2016.
