Teresa Sofia Castro participated in the ECREA Pre-Conference event online, under the theme THE DATAFIED CHILD: Growing up in the Algorithm conundrum, on the 12th of October, with two oral presentations. Firstly, the communication "I never thought of the colour of their eyes and height as personal data" where she shared reflections on how parental mediation can be challenged in such digitally complex times. This presentation is part of her longitudinal study iTec Families. Secondly, she presented with Maria José Brites the DiCi-Educa project with an overview of the project and a discussion around "Shortening the digital gap: institutionalised youth living in detention centres".
