The second edition of the MeLCi Lab Autumn School took place between November 15 and 18, under the motto "Media, gender, intersectionality and mediated social mobilizations". This year's edition resulted of a partnership with the FCT-funded research project FEMglocal - Glocal feminist movements: interactions and contradictions.
The event, which aims to introduce Ph.D. students and early career researchers to current discussions in the field and empower them with skills and research tools to support their professional growth and development, counted 9 participants from Brazil, Portugal, India, the UK, Croatia, and Austria.
Over four days, the autumn school welcomed keynote interventions by Marian Blanco Ruiz, Leonardo Custódio, Kaitlynn Mendes, and Sara de Vuyst, as well as several workshops focused on methodological issues, scientific writing, strategies for scientific dissemination in various formats and funding applications.
