The DCAM/CICANT project EducaçãoAcessível.pt developed in collaboration with CED Jacob Rodrigues Pereira (Casa Pia), won the Engenheiro Jaime Filipe Technological Innovation Award.
This is a distinction within the scope of the participation rights of people with disabilities awarded by the National Institute for Rehabilitation which, among others, aims to stimulate research and the creation of instruments that ensure a better quality of life for people with disabilities.
The award is an important recognition and incentive to the work in the area of accessible games for people with disabilities that has been conducted for some years by CICANT/DCAM's video games researchers/teachers and students.
