On the 14th of December, at 17h00, will take place at Museu Coleção Berardo Auditorium, the conference Representação do Corpo na Exposição Dos Pés à Cabeça [Representation of the Body in the Exhibition From Head to Toe].
This visit/conversation will be held around the exhibition From Head to Toe based on the representation of the body in various artistic media. This theme, which has always inspired artists, is also one of the issues in which children - the main target audience of this exhibition -, have always shown an interest.
The conference is part of the International conference cycle ECATI/ MCB. This event is free admission.
About the speaker
Cristina Gameiro is a Programmer, Curator, and Educator. She is the Coordinator of Museu Coleção Berardo's Educational Service. She lives and works in Lisbon. She is responsible for the conception of numerous cultural programs and projects in various museums and institutions such as Museu Coleção Berardo, Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation - Modern Art Centre, National Museum of Contemporary Art - Chiado Museum, Casa da Cerca - Contemporary Art Centre of Almada, Pedagogy and Animation Centre of Centro Cultural de Belém, EDP Foundation among others.
She has a degree in Human Resources Management and Psychology of Work (specialization in Psychology of Work), a post-graduation in Museums and Education, by the University of Évora, and Painting (curricular units of the Masters in Painting), by Faculty of Fine Arts of Lisboa. She attended the post-graduation course in Theatre Studies, at the Faculty of Arts of Lisbon and completed the Art History course at Ar.Co.
