Between March 8 and 11, Pedro Serrazina, CICANT researcher, will be at the New Bulgarian University, in Sofia (Bulgaria), to conduct the workshop (In)visible City.
(In)visible City is an animation workshop that will explore places of interest in Sofia. Through animated images participants will be invited to (re)discover, (re)create and question the boundaries of social and individual space. Leaving characters behind and focussing on animated space, participants will look into past history, lived experience and project the future, to (re)construct an idea of place.
The invitation to conduct the workshop was made by director and producer Vessela Dantcheva during a presentation by Pedro Serrazina at the Scanner symposium, which took place during the Zagreb 2021 international animation festival.
The workshop will be held with the undergraduate animation students of the New Bulgarian University and will result in a film, combining all works of the participants involved.
