YouNDigital researchers at the VI Congress of Media Literacy and Citizenship

Members of the YouNDigital - Youth, News and Digital Citizenship team (PTDC/COM-OUT/0243/2021) team attended the VI Congress on Literacy, Media and Citizenship, organized by GILM - Informal Group on Media Literacy, bringing to discussion some of the results and reflections resulting from the work developed in recent months.

In the presentation entitled "Youth, news and citizenship, which relationship emerges in a deeply digitalized society?", Maria José Brites, in co-authorship with Teresa Sofia Castro and Margarida Maneta, proposed, from the systematic literature review carried out within the scope of the project, a theoretical reflection around youth, news and digital citizenship.

With the title "Methodological challenges and lessons learned from the project Youth, News and Digital Citizenship (YouNDigital)", Margarida Maneta presented the communication also co-authored by Maria José Brites, Ana Filipa Oliveira, Andreia Pinto de Sousa, João Alves de Sousa and Mafalda Marinho, opening debate on the importance of adopting dynamic research methodologies that involve the different publics in a collaborative process of creation.
