IJFMA publishes two new issues in April 2026

The International Journal of Film and Media Arts (IJFMA), hosted by CICANT, has released two new issues in April 2026, further reinforcing its commitment to advancing critical research in film and media studies.

This special issue explores the challenges and opportunities faced by smaller European film industries in a rapidly evolving media landscape, marked by digital transformation and shifting audience dynamics.
The issue opens with an editorial by Manuel José Damásio and André Rui Graça, framing the debate around sustainability, identity, and visibility of small national cinemas.
