During May, the results of the Femglocal project were presented at several events at European and national level.
Between 11 and 12 May, Carla Cerqueira (PI) and Ana Sofia Pereira (postdoc researcher) were at the University of Tampere (Finland) where they participated in the congress “Rewired and revamped? Media & trans/national feminisms in Europe and beyond”, an event organized by the FEMCORUS project. Read all about their participation here.
On May 15th, Carla Cerqueira (PI) and researcher Maria João Cunha participated on the online conference “Comunicação e Media: Corpo, Género e Ativismos” [Communication and Media: Body, Gender, and Activism]. Th event took place as part of the Master’s Degree in Women’s Studies - Gender, Citizenship, and Development at Universidade Aberta (MEM-UAb). More info about this event is available here.
Carla Cerqueira (PI) also participated in ICA's 73rd Annual Conference. The researcher delivered a presentation titled “Transnational Feminist Activism: The #MeToo Case in Portugal” on may 27th. Know more about this event here.
